Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Echotek is a music platform at echotek.art. This policy applies to the website and related services. It should be read with our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide and information created when you use the service:

• Account data. Email address, password (stored by our authentication provider, not in recoverable form), optional display name, and Google account details if you sign up with Google.
• Profile and public content. Username, bio, follows, saved projects, comments, questions, collaboration posts, artist pages, projects, and store listings.
• Team applications. Team name, web address, and pitch submitted for administrator review.
• Payments. If you buy a listing or subscribe to a plan, Stripe collects payment details. We receive related records such as customer and subscription identifiers, plan, and purchase status. We do not store full card numbers.
• Security and usage. Session cookies, approximate request metadata used to keep you signed in, optional Google reCAPTCHA on sign-in and sign-up, and privacy-oriented analytics from our host.

3. How we use information

We use this information to:

• Create and secure accounts, including email confirmation
• Show public artist and project pages, search, and feeds
• Review artist team applications and operate the artist portal
• Process payments, subscriptions, and store orders
• Prevent abuse, spam, and unauthorized access
• Understand how the product is used and keep it working

4. How we share information

Public profiles, published artists, published projects, and other posts you make visible are shown to other people on Echotek. We also use service providers that process data on our behalf:

• Supabase for authentication and database hosting
• Google for listener sign-in with Google
• Vercel for application hosting and analytics
• Stripe for payments and billing
• Google reCAPTCHA on authentication forms, when enabled

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect Echotek, our users, or the public. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies

Echotek uses cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to protect the session. Analytics and reCAPTCHA may set their own cookies as described in those providers’ policies.

6. Retention and your choices

We keep account and content data while your account is open and as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal duties. You can update profile information while signed in and sign out at any time. To request access, correction, or deletion of your account, email privacy@echotek.art.

7. Children

Echotek is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@echotek.art.
