Terms of Service
These terms govern access to Echotek, including listener accounts, artist teams, and purchases.

1. Agreement
By creating an account, browsing signed-in areas of the service, or otherwise using Echotek, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Echotek is a music platform where people follow artists, save projects, collaborate, ask questions, and buy digital, analog, or merchandise listings. Artists publish through teams that an administrator must approve. Features can change as we improve the product.
3. Accounts
You need an account for most of Echotek. You must provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, and be responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, including accounts flagged as banned.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are under 13, you may not use Echotek. Paid features and store purchases must be made by someone legally able to complete the transaction.
4. Artists and teams
Registering as an artist submits a team application for review. Until it is approved, you do not have a public artist page or portal access. An approved team owns one artist profile. Team members may edit that artist and its projects. We may reject or later revoke a team if the application or later conduct violates these terms.
Some artist tools, including bookings, Making of, and project files, may require a paid plan billed through Stripe.
5. Your content
You keep the rights you already have in the material you post, such as profile details, projects, audio and related files, collaboration posts, questions, comments, and store listings. You grant Echotek a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that material as needed to operate and promote the service.
You represent that you have the rights needed to post the material and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. We may remove content or restrict accounts that appear to violate the law, these terms, or other people’s rights.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Harass, impersonate, or mislead other people
- Post unlawful, infringing, or clearly abusive material
- Interfere with the service, scrape it abusively, or attempt unauthorized access
- Use Echotek to send spam or to process payments for prohibited goods
7. Store and payments
Store listings and plan upgrades are processed by Stripe. Prices, availability, and fulfillment of artist-offered products are the responsibility of the listing artist unless we say otherwise at checkout. Paid subscriptions renew until canceled through the billing portal. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where Stripe or the artist provides a refund.
8. Disclaimers
Echotek is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content posted by other people is accurate or non-infringing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Echotek and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Echotek will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to hello@echotek.art.
